 After 24 years of renovating and building up a thriving restaurant, Martin and Susan Spooner have sold the business to us - Ray & Liudmila. We are going to continue in the way Martin and Susan left the restaurant – serving great quality good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Liudmila and I would like take this opportunity to thank Martin and Susan who have very kindly provided a smooth and practical hand over of Spooners Restaurant during the past few weeks. Martin continues to assist us and is always on the other end of the phone to give us any advice and help we need.

It has been a very hectic 3 weeks sine the 19th of March; this was not helped with the faulty telephone line. We are pleased to confirm that the 01908 584385 number has been re-instated.

We apologise to our loyal "Spooners" customers who have tried to contact us during this time and thank you for the many letters of support we have received.

Liudmila is enjoying her role as Maitre’d; we have received many compliments from the customers verbally and in writing to her warm welcoming smile and good service provided. We value your kind comments.

Introducing the "Russian Cuisine Experience"

In view of the customers’ requests who visited “Spooners” from 19th of March to-date and by popular demand, we have taken a bold step to hold a “Russian Cuisine Experience” on the following dates: - 17th, 18th and 19th of April.

On these special occasions, you will be pleased to learn that we will have two chefs who will be able to deliver excellent cuisine from both menus.

By word of mouth, we are already fully booked for the Thursday 17th so, if you wish to experience Russian cuisine, please book now for the available dates of 18th and 19th of April. This will entitle you to a 10% discount when you next visit Spooners Restaurant but not in conjunction with other promotional offers.

CHANGES - The bar area has now been relocated and refurbished which we hope will give you a comfortable and relaxing time. Our staffs are also enjoying working in this new environment.
